Greetings & Welcome to Philadelphia High School!!

I am thrilled to be part of such an amazing community serving as Principal for bright and eager scholars. As we embark upon a new year with new ideas and new faces, we welcome your presence, collaborative input, and to be a part of our TEAM.  

At PHS, we are dedicated to fostering an environment that nurtures not only academic excellence, but personal growth and character development. Our talented and dedicated staff are committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares our students for success in an ever-changing world. 

Throughout the year, you will witness our commitment to innovation, creativity, and a student- centered approach; all while holding each TEAM member accountable. We will continue to expand the learning opportunities for students and inspire them to be productive citizens.

Philadelphia High School Senior, Bre’lon Tanksley, had the distinct honor of attending the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Retreat this past weekend, an event known for its transformative leadership development experience. Philadelphia Elementary School’s MJ Spurlock Elected President of Mississippi State Elementary Beta Club

Philadelphia, MS – Philadelphia Elementary School is proud to announce that fifth-grade student MJ Spurlock has been elected president of the Mississippi State Elementary Beta Club. Spurlock’s victory follows a successful campaign centered around this year’s Beta theme, “Beta: Radiate,” and his slogan, “Radiate and Rock – I always wanted a PRESIDENT just like you.” He was elected by his peers in a statewide vote, marking a significant accomplishment for the young student and his school.

The ceremony recognized the dedication and hard work of these exceptional students as they take the next step in their athletic and academic journeys at the collegiate level.
