As we embark upon this journey filled with endless possibilities and opportunities, we are dedicated to serving all students and representing our school district with great pride. Philadelphia High School Named National Beta School of Merit

Philadelphia Public Schools is proud to announce that Philadelphia High School is a 2022-2023 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus. National Junior Beta includes grades 4-8 and National Senior Beta includes grades 9-12.

PHS Student Council were invited to tour the State Capital

PPSD School Board and Superintendent Whitehead attended the Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) 51st Annual Conference.

The MSBA Annual Conference brings together school board members and education leaders from across the state to share information that shapes the future of our students. The conference provides two and one-half days of significant presentations and experiences to energize your leadership team and district.

Philadelphia High School Students Attend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Advanced STEM Program

Philadelphia High School students in Ms. Deana Cumberland’s AP Computer Science Principles Class and Ms. Jennifer Johnson’s AP Biology Class attended the 5th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Advanced STEM Winter Program.
